The Russian military resumed its attacks against the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv over the weekend.

Despite nearly all of the fighting occurring in the eastern part of Ukraine, Russia launched five winged air missiles from the Caspian Sea toward the capital at about 6 a.m. local time on Sunday morning, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Ukraine’s air defense unit destroyed one of the missiles, while the rest hit the Darnytsia carriage repair plant in the northern part of the capital city. The military said there were “no victims” and that some localized fires had broken out.
